Feedback on Library Lecture

The second ELP library lecture looked at how to use different databases. We were reminded how to work with electronic databases. I found it rather dull and repetitive, as we had already done a similar tutorial with the library database last semester. Perhaps this was done to make us more familiar with databases.
I found one useful thing while randomly clicking around, which was how I could access some of the databases from my home computer. This lecture would've been useful for those who missed the last library lecture, but for people who already have a basic understanding of how databases work, it was all stuff that could be figured out by clicking around. I doubt if anyone was taking the lecture seriously.
I found it strange that the lecture and handouts were in Japanese, because everything else was in English. It would make more sense to explain the computer commands in English, since that is the language used in most of the databases.
It would've been better if we focused more on how to get the exact kind of information we want, because this can sometimes be difficult. We should have had less computer/technical stuff and more on obtaining the 'right'information.
The best I can say about this lecture was that it gave us a chance to experiment with the database searches. I think it was successful in that it made us more familiar with using electronic databases, but I have to say that it could've been better.

UPDATE POST:
I just had a look at what others wrote and I'm surprised that so many people found the lecture very useful. It must've been good that the lecturer showed all the step-by-step datails on using various databases for most people. Perhaps I am the only one who doesn't think so, but I will also add that I think the electronic databases are amazing and very useful for research.
